Brrrrrrrr

When I turned in ABC news this morning and they commented on Minot during national weather for being exceptionally cold I knew it was going to be a hibernating day. We stayed cozy in our FEMA trailer and it was quite enjoyable :) We had family and friends visit and the boys were entertained. Cabin fever set in and gma Sharon came over to put the boys to bed so Ben and I could get some dinner, nice!!! Today was a good day :)

Giggle Bellies

Oh ya....volume 2 arrived in the mail yesterday :) Very exciting!

I also emailed the company to thank them and found out that one of the co-owners had preemie twins at 24 weeks!! Her daughter is now 3 and thriving and soooooo cute!! (her twin sister did not make it sadly) I am sure this mama had quite the NICU experience for quite a long time, a marathon probably. So PLEASE help support this small company and spread the giggle bellie love :)  Tell a friend or something! (we are in no way paid or sponsored by them, just love their DVDs and their story!)

World Prematurity Day

November 17th is World Prematurity Day....what better way to celebrate than to look back at some of the first pics taken of our trips who were born 8 weeks premature. These bring back SOOOOOOO many emotions, I don't have the time to reflect beyond posting some pics right now, but I think I will right a letter to each of the boys on here for their 1st birthday. I better get started since it is just over 2 months away.....YIKES!!!!

Little Man Riley!

R was such a sweet pea! He was born 3 pounds 4ounces and dropped down to 2 lb 15 oz, hard to believe he is now bigger than Payton and trailing just behind Evan at 18 lb 10 oz!! (Evan is now 19 lb 4 oz and Payton is 16 lb 3 oz....not sure where he is putting it- he eats like a champ!)

We Steal Toys

Look at these grabby-mc-grabbersons!! At least they are learning to share well at a very young age :) They are also teaching Brody how to share. Riley LOVES his cars and Brody hates it when he puts them in his mouth. Brody will appreciate R's love for cars soon enough ;)

They may share toys well....but when it comes to paci's, the gloves come off!!

New Tub

Why do kids look so stinking cute in the bath! It's a bummer that the trailer doesn't have a full tub since the boys are really into them right now. We got the next best thing for now I guess. Evan got to stay in for Payton's bath too, he loved it. In fact, they all did; so much so that they screamed for 45 minutes after I took them out!

We have had LOT'S of stinky diapers today (the nasty runny sorts) and now I'm feeling nauseous and icky too :( I hope more than anything that a good nights sleep does the trick for all of us tonight and we wake up feeling great tomorrow.....fingers crossed!!

1st day down....

We woke up in our new pad this morning....it's going to take some getting use to! As Riley spent most of the day creeping around exploring the place I realized we might be in trouble pretty soon....triple trouble! My plan has always been to use the giant play yard (from their aunties) to corral them when this day came but I'm afraid there isn't room for it here! We will probably try it anyway but it may not leave much room for those of us that are upwardly mobile much room to get around. I then started thinking about baby proofing and that is going to be an even bigger challenge. With the lack of space in here the floor provides a lot of storage. I think I picked up the diaper stash about 1,000 times today after they pulled them all out of a bottom cubby. It will have to be a work in progress :)

We should be getting Internet tomorrow and I can post some pictures....hopefully this video of the boys getting their rhythm uploads correctly from my phone...
