....if the hat fits, he must wear it. Evan is ruling the house these days and we are desperately trying to teach manners and sharing. It's really hard but we aren't giving up :)

Ri-Guy

This little bugger has been too darn cute lately :) I have been enjoying him as my lap buddy, cuddle bug and silly bean. Payton has been way too busy to snuggle lately so it's nice that Riley is filling in :) It's interesting to watch them rotate through different phases, they are definitely never on the same page. We are looking forward to the weekend and especially the following short work week- this mama needs a break! Let the holiday season begin :)

No case of the Mondays here!

I love it when I have a good day at work (which means feeling more productive than behind!) and then even being able to make it home in time to make a homemade meal for Brody and Ben :) The trips eat before I get home so they will be able to enjoy the spaghetti with extra veggies mixed (hidden) in the sauce for lunch tomorrow. The babes have no problem eating their veggies for the most part, but I am always proud when Brody eats something different than corn, green beans or carrots- tonight he got a full serving of butternut squash that I steamed and mashed into the red sauce. Score!

Knocking Pins!

This morning we decided to pack up and head out for some bowling!! Brody taught the littles how it's done and everyone had a great time. Riley loved the fan the was just at his height at the end of the ball return and also showed off his muscles by throwing balls, literally. Evan loved his water cup with a straw and Payton made MANY attempts to follow the ball down the lane. I think Brody's favorite part was hiding behind all the empty booths in our corner of the restaurant when we settled in for lunch. I managed to bowl 3 strikes, 2 of them in the 10th frame. I had to call and tell my mom- she was proud :) We made it home past nap time and all 4 boys marched straight to bed- mission accomplished!

New Things

We had a Saturday filled with new adventures. We bundled up and walked to a bagel shop for muffins, bagels and coffee this morning. On our way home we finally found a new donut shop open (we usually walk by too late in the day) and had to pick up a few tasty treats for later. Ben's pick was original glazed, Brody's was coated in chocolate sprinkles and I picked out one that had a lavender glaze- yum! After naps we headed over to new park that we have seen in the Pitt's Trips blog, sadly they couldn't join us today but we will be back- the boys loved it! We even got some good pics on the regular camera that I will post soon :)

Story time

This is from the other day after a fun bath upstairs, where all 4 boys fit in the tub (no pictures to share if that due to indecent exposure!) Evan and Riley were quite content reading from Brody's library. I think Evan stayed in Brody's bed for a good 30 minutes- which is about a lifetime in triplet-toddler world :) I still can't get the attention span of all three if them at once to sit while we read stories, I'm not too worried as I recall Brody being not that interested until he was close to 2 years old as well. I can't wait until all the boys want to crawl in bed together and cozy up with a few books!

Silly Evan

This kid cracks me up with his love of masks and play hats lately! I don't even mind him bringing me our assortment of eye masks 1,199 times a day to be placed back on his face ever so carefully. He doesn't mind them at all and will even crawl up on the couch to watch a show while sporting one, it's pretty dang cute!
