Yep, they still save the day! This was Saturday- the trips are teething again and hit the wall far too early to be put down for a nap. When all else fails we still can pop in this DVD and be guaranteed 28 minutes of cry-free time :)

Brody LOVES his new spiderman PJs that he found and insisted on having during our last trip Target. The goal of the trip was to get scissors so he could improve his skills, we also found some new paint so he could create more masterpieces :) We did lots of cutting this weekend as well, there is paper scraps everywhere as proof. The sun finally came out tonight, sad that it was just in time for the weekend to be over. I went a little (a lot) stir-crazy as we were approaching 48 hours of being home in the house this afternoon. I couldn't think of anything exciting enough to pack up the crew for though?? Minotians- give me some ideas to cure this next time??!!

Corner.Ever. I decided that a bare, lonely corner in our living room was best suited to be filled with pictures of our loves!! I think I will sit back and admire the beautiful photos we were fortunate to have taken over the last 3 years by some amazing photographers! We are going to need a MUCH bigger house to hold the pictures that have yet to be taken, I am really bad at "replacing" pictures and tend to just add to them :)

I think Ben has perfected the horsey-knee-ride times three! Not an easy accomplishment but he does it well :) The boys were in semi-rough states this evening, I think from the 3 shots they got at their 15 month well child check-up. Yep- 15 months! Crazy. Really, crazy. Evan weighed in at 21lb 12oz, Payton at 19lb 3oz and Riley at 20lb 15oz! I can't believe how big our boys are getting, like I said- CRAZY.

We often get the comment that people know which one is Payton because of his curls- well, they all have curls! Some just have more and last longer :) You see these curls after bath time, so yes- it was a busy night!

This Kid!!

Ok- time for some proud mama bragging!! Ben and I went to our first parent/teacher conference tonight at Kidcity Playschool where B goes to preschool. We left with grins from ear to ear :) It wasn't anything that we didn't already know- but great to hear from a 3rd party. The report was similar to those we got from Brody's dayschool in Portland- that we should keep doing what we're doing because our boy is amazing. Brody continues to be his sweet, caring, smart, thoughtful, patient, positive, loving- self! It's amazing to hear that he doesn't have a mean bone in his body and gets along with everyone, he loves to paint and takes his time to think things through and absorbs information, he impresses his teacher with his knowledge of numbers/letters/colors/shapes/etc., he is all boy when it comes to sports and interacting with the few other boys in his class but also has the love of the girls in the class too :) We do need to work on some fine motor skills with drawing, dressing and the use of scissors but that will come. It would probably help if we gave him scissors to practice with! So not his fault- Ben and I need to make an effort to do these things after the babes go to bed :) When we came home and told Brody how proud of him we were he was truly touched- it was so sweet. We are so lucky to have Brody- blessed for sure. The babies are also lucky to have a positive role model in their lives, we hope they always learn lots from him! We love you Brody, you have a bright, bright future. xoxo

Triplet Mom's Rock! II

It's time to mention another one of the awesome triplet Mom's that have inspired me! Pam, over at pyjammy's blog was the first blog I read start to finish when I found out I was having identical triplet boys! I mean, just take a look at her adorable trio and you will know why :) Pam not only has ADORABLE boys but she also takes GREAT pictures!! Such an inspiration- I'm not sure how she does it. I often skimp out for days on end by posting (crappy) cellphone pictures, but not Pam- hers are almost always of great quality! I love seeing her 4 year old boys being free-spirited fun-loving toddlers! I think Brody would have a hay-day with them :) At the very least, check out her monthly pictures section- it's something I always wanted to do but when Evan was separated for 6 weeks after they all came home, and then the move, the flood, and the multiple moves to follow, I'm afraid my monthly picture goal disappeared somewhere in the mix :( Anyways, enjoy the peek into another rockin' triplet mom (if you don't already follow the blog you should- but I bet most of you already do!!)

We took the pictures in the chair before loading up and heading to church to watch cousin Sloane get baptized- all the boys did great! We had a yummy lunch with the fam after church before heading home for a late afternoon nap. Ben got the kitchen cabinets baby proofed (much needed) and Brody stayed back to play with cousin Drey for a bit longer. The sun was out all day and it felt good!!!

The missing Monkey!

I was feeling a little bad leaving Payton out of the picture last night- so here he is! Different night, same story :) Not sure what he was looking for outside, but it sure was cute! He went to the baby gate to yell for Dad and then went back to be entertained by Riley in their favorite spot.

3 of my 4 monkeys calling for their mom!! Payton was around the corner scaling the wall in attempts to join them :) It's finally Friday!! I shouldn't complain- the work weeks do fly by when you're busy being busy. We have a full weekend lined up so Ben and I are going to relax with a movie after we get the biggest monkey to bed (Ben doesn't know it yet but I get to choose the movie!) xo

Ruff ruff!! That was the first name (or was it woof woof??) Brody gave his new puppy from g-Gma Elsie before he settled on "spot." Brody's g-aunties Bev and Carole took him to visit ggma E yesterday before hitting up his favorite treat place- tutti fruitti! He ended his playdate with watching Shrek with cuz Katie and then was dropped off at home to have pizza with Dad! I'd say Brody had a good time :)

I finally got around to loading almost a thousand pictures from my camera card to our "home" computer! Some of these may be repeats because I often upload a few to my laptop to do a quick post (or they look familiar because I also may have had my iPhone out!) So this is just a BIG lot of pics- it was hard to narrow down!! I chose them for all different reasons- the look in their eyes, smile, what they were doing, the memory I have of that specific time, etc. I will have to do the same in a post for just Big Boy Brody :) I know I am a bit biased but I think these boys were made to be photographed! I just fall in love with their features over and over....and I know that's not going to change since their big brother who they take after is just as handsome! Watch out ladies- these boys are going to be heartbreakers :) (in the most respectful, please your mother type of way ;) )
