This Kid!!

Ok- time for some proud mama bragging!! Ben and I went to our first parent/teacher conference tonight at Kidcity Playschool where B goes to preschool. We left with grins from ear to ear :) It wasn't anything that we didn't already know- but great to hear from a 3rd party. The report was similar to those we got from Brody's dayschool in Portland- that we should keep doing what we're doing because our boy is amazing. Brody continues to be his sweet, caring, smart, thoughtful, patient, positive, loving- self! It's amazing to hear that he doesn't have a mean bone in his body and gets along with everyone, he loves to paint and takes his time to think things through and absorbs information, he impresses his teacher with his knowledge of numbers/letters/colors/shapes/etc., he is all boy when it comes to sports and interacting with the few other boys in his class but also has the love of the girls in the class too :) We do need to work on some fine motor skills with drawing, dressing and the use of scissors but that will come. It would probably help if we gave him scissors to practice with! So not his fault- Ben and I need to make an effort to do these things after the babes go to bed :) When we came home and told Brody how proud of him we were he was truly touched- it was so sweet. We are so lucky to have Brody- blessed for sure. The babies are also lucky to have a positive role model in their lives, we hope they always learn lots from him! We love you Brody, you have a bright, bright future. xoxo
