Is it still a date if it was to the Dr's office??? I took him in to the on-call pedi today for mysterious blisters on his 2nd and 3rd digits!?!!!??? We can't figure it out, no ovens, hot liquids or curling irons were around yesterday. I googled it and of course saw the scary stuff about rare illnesses and infections. The pedi assured me it looked like 2nd and a bit of 3rd degree burns! So weird!! At this point I am hoping all they are are burns, even though I feel awful for not knowing where they came from??? We were given antibiotics since they are on his fingers and hard to keep clean...and given our previous bad luck with trying to get out of town illness free we decided to error on the side of caution and try and fight off any infection that may come from this. We have some topical ointment for burns and are attempting to keep them clean and covered. They don't seem to bother him- he just favors the other hand. Such a trooper. We are saying extra prayers for health tonight and always!
