Amen!!

Dr. Z just updated us that they were finished and Evan did great! At
about 1 hr and 57 minutes on our timer Ben went to the desk and asked
for an update. They called back and informed us that they were
finished and the doc would be right out. No news though. The next 10
minutes were HORRIBLE as I played through different scenarios in my
head. All I kept thinking was "don't take us in the consult room,
please don't take us in the consult room." I feel like nothing good is
ever discussed in those small rooms. Luckily Dr. Z came out and
immediately said "were done, it went well." But then he brought us in
the consult room!!! Luckily it was just to answer any questions we had
and to tell us a bit of what to expect. They were able to go into the
previous incision and close up the ostomy site as well. He said the
bowel does have scar tissue but it was as expected and was healed.

Now we wait for some toots and hope he stays comfortable until then.
