2 by 2

We spilt up bath duty into am and pm sessions today. I did it initially because PJ was taking a morning nap, B was already dressed and I couldn't stand E and R's nappy hair any longer :) It's so crazy how much easier just 2 in the bath is compared to 3 or 4! The first four pics are of Evan and Riley and I can't stop laughing at Riley- he looks like such a hippie!! Brody and Payton were actually crazier than the first two- I judged that on much wetter I was when all was said and done :) We had a nice little Sunday at home today.

I have seen felt toy food and was always skeptical- Evan loved it! He made me a big salad ;) Birthday present idea??

We checked out the Vancouver Library this morning and were pleasantly surprised! We new it was going to be pretty cool from pictures we have seen of other triplet Mom's enjoying it- but pictures don't do it justice! It was HUGE! It was very clean, very modern and so much fun. It was really busy but it didn't feel that way. The kids weren't wild and we weren't nervous. Everyone was really nice and there were so many stations, corners, teepees, etc to explore that it was easy to move around and since the displays were all kid size it made it easier for Ben and I to keep our eyes on everyone (for the most part). The boys found babies to take care of, wheels to turn, lights to step on, mazes to navigate, and so much more. It was definitely a good time for all and we will be back.

I am a little nervous about how friendly our boys are- it was just Brody at first but Payton has followed suit. They have no problem attaching themselves to strangers and are very interested in them. They are so charming that they often make friends- I can't help but feel a bit embarrassed when they invade others personal bubbles though, ha! PJ did that with a few different people today and he even approached the same sweet Mom multiple times, they all loved him- this time :)

I even met a fellow triplet Mom. This time it wasn't a Mom of triplets- she was a triplet herself! She has 2 identical sisters and couldn't believe she met another set of identicals. I wish I had more time to ask her questions but I was too busy gathering the crew as we played well past lunchtime! The boys did great, we even had lunch out afterwards. We got home at 1pm and the boys are still sound aslepp at 3:15pm- complete success!!!

Nanny Cam

Jess had the boys being creative with noodles, I love seeing Brody doing activities with them :) We do need to get him back in to part-time preschool soon as much as he loves time with Jess and his brothers- we know he really enjoys his time with friends his age as well. The second pic was Evan helping Payton eat his tomato soup- so cute!! Evan still has his moments (tantrums) but has also become very good at recognizing when his brothers are upset or struggling with something and being there for them to help them out! (Sidenote: I haven't forgotten about this blog or the fact that I still need to post Xmas pics- just need some time to get back into the swing of things around here!!)
