Yes, a mini-getaway! All the way up to g&g Waind's house for one night! Fot those of you that don't know- it is only a couple miles up the hill from our sweet FEMA trailer ;) Since they were gone at the lake for New Years we decided to pack up (and it was a lot!) just for a change of scenery and some more space. The boys enjoyed it....and so did we.

Evan's first rug-burn incident....my first "fail" as a mommy! (yes, first time. ever. haha!) I had him on the couch with me and he was crawling around my lap, I reached for another brother and so did he- bam, on the rug face first. Poor bug!!
All the excitement of being away made coming home exciting as well! The boys investigated the trailer to make sure nothing was out of place which gave us time to unpack the bags. They ate some dinner, had a bottle and off to bed they went! Nighty-Night ;)
